If you ask any of my students what my favorite exercise is, they will make a sad face and say, “burpees…” Ummmm. DUH. Why would this not be my favorite exercise of all time? It’s body-weight, (and let’s be honest – body-weight exercises are one of the things I can win at.They are my secret weapon…) You can do it anywhere. It uses almost every muscle in your body – except you face – and believe my your face does not want to be involved with the burpee. I speak the truth due to one too many face plants after one too many impressively aggressive chest-to-deck burpees. You get to jump AND clap. Who doesn’t love those two things?
