So I’m kind of a superhero. Forging boldly into my mid-twenties I have realized that I am a woman of two personalities. On the one hand I am teetering dangerously close to cat-lady-dom. My two, literarily named cats, Pip and Oliver, are my only roomies. Combine multiple feline ownership with my propensity to stay in my one bedroom apartment, a love of bad romantic comedies and Jane Austen novels, and I am flirting with spinsterhood before I reach the quarter century mark. Let’s call this my slightly less cool Clark Kent identity. Ever a woman who seeks completion – I have a ying to my yang, a Superman to my Clark Kent. Prompted by a deep, guttural voice and an unnatural love of burpees and fluorescent pink, SuperMe ventures out into the greater Denver area, fighting under the guise of a fitness coach to rid people of their greatest enemies – who coincidentally often turn out to be themselves – in order find their own SuperSelf. This blog is the point at which my two personalities meet. I am not going to pretend to be omniscient with bitingly blonde, sorority girl confidence. I’m single, brunette, and 24. So not me. Let’s go with multifaceted, which will be the character of this blog – a place in which self-doubt mixes with confidence, where my own unique, paleo, fitness lifestyle combines with the normality of being a single 24 year old woman: a paleo girl in the city.
